Perhaps equally unsurprisingly, given that they lost 4-0 at Hull City last time out, Preston make FOUR changes for tonight’s game as Paul Huntington, Alan Browne, Brad Potts and Jayden Stockley come in.

Worryingly for the hosts, they have arguably an entire first-choice back four sidelined after Patrick Bauer joined Darnell Fisher, Ben Davies and Andrew Hughes in the treatment room.

That means a first matchday spot for 18-year-old defender Jack Armer, who is included among the Preston substitutes.

Preston North End: Rudd, Browne, Huntington, Storey, Rafferty, Pearson, Johnson, Barkhuizen, Potts, Maguire, Stockley.

Subs: Ripley, Armer, Bayliss, Harrop, Ledson, Nugent, Bodin.

West Bromwich Albion: Johnstone, Ferguson, Bartley, Ajayi, Gibbs, Livermore, Sawyers, Phillips, Pereira, Diangana, Robson-Kanu.

Subs: Bond, Hegazi, Furlong, Barry, Edwards, Krovinovic, Austin.
